A version with the Enlightenment Era constellations named by Nicholas-Louis de Lacaille
Their uniqueness comes from the fact that instead of myths, their namesakes are various scientific and artistic tools created during the era, all except one!
The outlier in the group is Mensa, whose name is based on Table Mountain (Mons Mensae) in the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa, where Lacaille set up his observatory
The mountain itself is named that because it has a flat top. Because it is also in close proximity to mountains Devil's Peak and Lion's Head, I imagine she has a pretty metal house...
I drew all of these in the same game ●_●
Horologium looks too soft in that lol
She has quite a few pendulums and arrows on her because of the constellation representing a pendulum clock
I made Norma's hair quite straight because the constellation represents a carpenter's square, or a ruler
Telescopium's flared sleeves are supposed to resemble a telescope's body, and his armbands have reticles on them which telescopes need to focus
I half-assed a relationship chart between these 4 lol
Telescopium will make sense soon.... hehehe
